Review: I can't say enough great things about this company and the owner Mike. We have been looking to redo our master and guest bathrooms for over a year, and after extensive searching, we finally found Mike and his company Powers Remodeling. Not only did they do an amazing job from start to finish, they were very detailed and precise. His crew protected my floors by laying down paper and taping all the edges and they cleaned every time they left. My bathrooms were builder grade, but deteriorating since my home was previously a renters home. Now they look like something out of a magazine. I had my guest bathroom remodeled with New tiles, new fixtures, removed the tub for a walk-in shower, added frameless glass and they even hung my bathroom mirror and put my countertops in that I purchased way before the job. For my master bath, I had new tile installed, new fixtures, seamless glass, new tub, and they also built the tub surround structure, they put safety/towel bars also in both bath too. Mike came and checked on his crew to make sure work was done precisely and efficiently. He even played with my one year old baby and my little dog every time he came over. He has a wonderful personality, a great work ethic, and he truly cares if his clients are happy at the end of everything. His prices are fair and reasonably, and the workmanship is top of the line. Look no further for your remodeling needs, Powers Remodeling is the best you could choose.

Review: Mike West and Powers Remodeling did a fantastic job with our house, on a tight budget! We had 5 companies come out to bid our project and while some ideas were a little different for each company, the project size was relatively the same...except Powers provided the best project for the money we could spend. The end results are amazing and all of our family and friends fell in love with the changes to our home. So much, in fact, that many have actually become referral business for Powers Remodeling with projects of their own - I think 4 or 5 now!We tore everything out of the kitchen from floors to ceiling, replaced all tile, carpet and laminate throughout the entire home and my favorite part...opened up the enclosed staircase into BEAUTIFUL banister and wrought-iron spindles! It opened up the house so much and looks stunning! Our home went from a 14 year old "box-cutter" style home to a beautiful custom home in less than 5 weeks. Yes, all of this work was completed in under 5 weeks! If you're in the market for floors/remodeling, you have to contact Mike West, you'll be glad you did. We sure are!

Review: We had our master and guest bathrooms renovated by Powers Remodeling recently. From the beginning, Mike was affable and attentive to our requests and ideas for what we wanted to do. We presented him with our vision of what we wanted, which included true-scale before and after overhead drawings of the projected work in the master bathroom. From there, he was able to propose ideas to favorably tweak what we had in mind. He was present multiple times each week during the project to walk us through the progress made, as well as to brief with his sub-contractors. He also listened to ideas presented by his subcontractors and presented them to us for consideration.Almost all of the subcontractors did superb work. The plumbing/tiling contractor came up with an idea for building pony walls that was nothing short of brilliant. We immediately incorporated that idea into the master bathroom remodel and it completely tied everything together between the his 'n hers shower bay and the new cabinets and sinks.Likewise, the glass-work for the showers, marble counter-top, and electrical work were all top-notch.To this point, this review would have been a five-star review.However, my wife and I are disappointed with the woodwork done to build the new cabinets. The cabinetmakers came up with an arresting design and from a distance the finished product is beautiful. It is upon close examination 6 weeks after completion of the project that the short-comings become apparent. As information, I have worked with wood for over 50 years and know a few things about the the topic.The cabinetmakers took only one day to build the cabinets. However, just like "One does not simply walk into Mordor", one does not simply whap together a set of cabinets in one day. The finished cabinets reflect that hasty construction. The veneer on the edges of the doors and drawers is starting to separate. The finish is paper-thin and is rubbing off in places. The result is that now, I am going to have to remove all of the doors, reglue the veneer strips where necessary, apply a colorant to the areas where the finish is rubbed off, and then refinish everything with a couple of coats of polyurethane.I advise the reader to please not interpret this last segment as a negative endorsement for Powers Remodeling. This is an informative analysis to Mike for consideration when dealing with his cabinetmakers, whether he retains the current one, or contracts a new one.I do recommend Powers Remodeling and have recommended them to others who have contemplated a bathroom/kitchen remodel. Review: We were repairing our home (with another contractor) after a fire and decided while we were at it to remodel our master bath. The master bathroom of the house we were living in while our home was being repaired had been remodeled by Mike West's team. We saw the bathroom and shower daily and the craftsmanship was obvious. We got only two estimates, one from Mike and the other from our fire reconstruction contractor. I told myself I would go with Mike if he was close in price because I saw his work daily and liked what I saw. Mike's estimate turned out to be a few hundred $ lower so we went with it. Mike worked well with my other contractor. He went above and beyong to assist us in selecting tile and a design that would complement a vanity that my wife had already chosen and vinyl tile that we had already committed to with the reconstruction contractor team. To make a long story short, we ended up with a master bathroom that we are very pleased with in almost every detail. Mike's team also installed a tile backsplash in our new kitchen and did a beautiful job. In short, we had a great experience with Mike West. He is very personable and enjoyable to work with. He communicates well and is very reachable and responsive via email or text (we exchanged LOTS of email and text messages over the course of our projects!). I also believe Mike is very honest and has a lot of personal integrity. He has a very talented and skilled team. So, bottom line, we had a great experience all around and will definitely call on Mike again if we do another remodeling project.

Review: 8/18/23 This is our third remodel with Mike West.We love our new kitchen. Mike West and Powers Remodeling did a fantastic job with a complete rebuild of the kitchen including replacing a gas oven with an electric convection oven, replacing all cabinets with custom cabinets and pull outs, new lighting, and new quartz counter tops and back splash. Mike’s professionalism, schedule management, and attention to detail made this project a great success.July 2021Powers Remodeling did a remake of the downstairs 3/4 bath including new tiled shower, new commode, and vanity and sink. We are very happy with the result.June 2019Our second-floor master bath room shower had bad drain plumbing and leaked to kitchen below. Fixing the drain would require tearing out the shower basin so we decided to redo the whole shower with re-tiling and new shower fixtures. Powers was on the low end of estimates that ranged from 6 to 17K and provided a beautiful end product. Plumbing and tiling was professionally accomplished. Mike West provided excellent coordination and customer service. Responded quickly to all our questions and concerns.
