Review: I have used JLQ Roofing twice. I got a roof in 2010 and again in 2023. Jose is fabulous, he explained the processes very well. Met with my insurance company handled writing up the quotes for them. Their crews were professional, cleaned up after themselves and Showed up on time when they were scheduled.I then had a branch fall from a tree on the roof and Jose came out right away to fix the shingles that were affected. He is always very responsive and I believe communication is hugely important as well as the fact that my roof looks great.I work for a custom homebuilder and so I understand working with subcontractors and I highly recommend Jose And his team!

Review: Whoever drives an F250 plate PYP3566. Driving like a maniac in rain, standing water, almost causing multiple accidents on 529. Weaving in an out of traffic and driving like a jackass. Not smart in a company marked truck. If that's how you treat people on the road I wouldn't give you a chance to touch my house.

Review: If I could give this company zero stars I would. I was referred to this company through my home warranty company. I'm not even sure how they made the home warranty list. The issue with our roof was not covered through our home warranty, therefore it would be a 100% out of pocket cost. I figured JLQ Roofing were a reputable company because they were associated with such a large warranty company. First issue we ran into was the cost. He provided two separate cost stating 1 cost included a 90 day warranty and the other cost ($50 less) did not include a warranty. We were told the work was completed, the owner Juan was semi-pleasant, we paid and went on our way. Well just a week later we were hit with a large amount of rain. As soon as the rain started to fall the ceiling inside the home began to leak from the same exact place it had before (prior to the roof being prepared). I called and text Juan on several occasions to have him come back out to re-assess the damage. He continued to promise to get out to the home as soon as possible and we were very understanding. After me contacting him (because he never called me back with an updated ETA - after 4 days) he finally says he will be out the next morning. As soon as we began talking he starts asking about whether we have home owners insurance and suggesting that we will need a whole new roof. I explain to him (again) that our issue is not the entire roof and that it is just the area of roof he supposedly repaired a week ago. I mentioned the "warranty" he originally said he would honor. That's when he went on to explain that we must have a new issue with the repair and that he didn't warranty in part of the roof outside of the 2x2 area he repaired. He tried to convince me (without ever seeing the roof again) that we needed a whole new roof. Again, I let him know this was not a whole roof issue and asked if he could just simply tarp the roof to prevent any further leaking. He told me the cost to tarp the roof would be at least $350-$500. I was blown away by this. I just didn't think paying $350-$500 to tarp a roof in an area that was supposed to be repaired the first time around . Juan was very sarcastic and condescending throughout the call.He just kept saying his company had been in business for 30 years and that he knew what he was doing. By the end of the call I just decided to reach out to another roofing company rather than trust their services again. All in all, they did not do a very good job repairing the leak. The rain coming through the ceiling just a week later was proof of that. And they went back on the word when it came to honoring their 90 day warranty. I'm sorry I just can not recommend this company for roofing service. I will also be contacting the home warranty company to share this unpleasant experience.

Review: JLQ Roofing was a pleasure to work with. My rental property had taken some wind damage and they completed the new roof installation. I had a last minute trip come up so I was not present during the actual install, but Jose provided pictures and kept me well informed during the process. The new roof looks great and I plan to hire them again for some remodeling I am doing on my own home. Overall great experience, Thanks guys!

Review: We experienced heavy storm damage due to Hurricane Harvey. We were originally referred to JLQ Roofing through a friend. During the install, the crew found several flashing pieces missing which were replaced along with some of the decking. I am very satisfied with the work, they completed the job in 1 day! I would definitely hire them again.
